Thirumavalavan, here is a brief introduction.
He is the leader of a party called Viduthalai Siruthaigal ( Liberation Panthers) who claims himself to fight for the freedom of Tamils from Sri Lankan military. Incidentally he has also acted as a hero in a Tamil film titled Anbu Thozhi ( Dear girlfriend). He often conducts meetings to illuminate the people about the sufferings of their brothers in Sri Lanka and to promote himself as a great devotee to the language.

I recently happened to see one of his banner on Mount Road. It was written 'Em Perumaane' in Tamil.. meaning 'My Lord'. Pathetically, there was a big spelling mistake. The 'ru' was 'vallina ru ' ( big ru as it called commonly) instead of 'idaiyina ru' (called as small ru commonly) which gives a meaning like ' My beggar'. How the hell can a political leader who wishes to advertise himself exploiting the situation in SriLanka commit such a mistake in spelling ? I don't bother if he really fights for Tamils in SriLanka but let him atleast not kill the language. Are people so careless to ignore such mistakes. It looks like Bharatiyaar's statement that ' Tamizh mella ini saagum ' - ( Tamil will slowly die) is coming true. A real bad sign.

My Experience with S.E.E.D. part 1 of 2

May Blog: PUT INTRO...

August Blog: Hi my nick is August Blog and my name is MEWS. But he started loosing his patience waiting for an answer. He sees the children doing some drawing on the paper...an inverted L within which 5103 is arrested and poor 63 is not let in and 8 supervising all these things...

Oh my gosh ! They are still doing this simple division...??? Where shall I bang my head.

The cruel author then starts doing a similar division on the blackie board.
Starts explaining like 51 lesser than 63 ; so take 510; 8 times 63 is 504; subtract to get 6 ; bring 3 down; 63 ones are 63 ; so the answer is 81.

Whew !!!

Now he faces a bigger trouble. There lies before him r^4=81. It is obvious for him that r=+-3 considering only the real solutions. But how in this world will he explain to the students whom he had just taught to divide ? So he ends up in doing an injustice to them ; guides them through a brutal force method..the trial and error method.. he begins with 2 and gets 16 (!?) and then like an innocent fellow, tries with 3 and gets the answer. And does some tricks to make them believe that -3 is also an answer and hence r=+-3.

But I should mention that our author is a good fellow, a very sensitive and truthful fellow. (Of course, the blog is still the author's. How else will it be ? ). So he decides to teach Prime factorisation now...a different inverted L now; 81 placed on it; again 3 kept outside and all the burden on the smaller numbers beneath. Finally he manages to arrive that 81=3x3x3x3 and convinces them.

   Whew !! again.

Author: Ippo Kanangal paakalam.. (Lets us see SETS now )
.......................... Gradually they started playing with each other.
The little boys gets some branch of a tree lying there and says that he will bat and the author should bowl. Hargovind being the fielder and Althaf sitting like an umpire, the game gets going.

Ball-boys are generally seen beyond the boundary. But the game had a ball-boy in the pitch itself. This might seem very uninteresting for most of the people..so far I have been writing posts for the sake of blogging...but this is something that I have realized myself in the recent days and may not suit some of the personalities reading this blog....I just wanted to write and so I'm writing

In my 6th standard one of my teacher told about praying to God in a circular fashion. That is ..where you first pray for yourself (self centered concentric circles...) , then for your dear ones say parents, siblings, dear friends, friends, people whom you are acquainted with..and for your enemies (positive or negative depends on the person...:P )... The circle expands ... just like the ripples formed on a water surface originated by a falling drop expands.... No...If you think I'm going to say something regarding God you are mistaken...and of course the title does not suggest that too...

What is obvious from this circle is the closer a person to you, the smaller the circle he/she is in. The smaller the circle he/she is in....the more the priority you give to that particular person. Person treated by you in a particular same way shall be in a particular circle. The virtual distance between you and the person shall be the radius of the circle the person is.

I do not intend to make 'Mokka'...but you might feel this comparison of the above mentioned circle with the structure of an atom is... :

Consider yourself as the nucleus of the atom and all other persons as electrons around you. Sticking to the classical Bohr's model, the circle represents the electron orbits. Transitions happen often..but in the case of relationships there is no quantisation. The transition might be continuous or discrete. But the atom has to spend some of its energy for it ..it might be some thing as simple as a smile or a talk or as valuable as your time and heart...

Consider now the other person being the nucleus in his own set of concentric circles. The relationship between these two persons can be considered as the chemical bond that forms between the two atoms. The criterion for bond -relationship formation is that one person should be in the circle of the other and vice versa.

Quantum chemistry says a strong bond is formed when the electron in one energy jumps into the orbital of the other atom of same energy level. That was the reason told for the order of strength of back-bonding among halogens. Dissimilar energy levels do not form the strongest possible bond. In binary language of molecular orbital theory , bonding is formed if orbitals of same sign overlap...dissimilar orbital overlap causes repulsion. Stability is present in case of similarity Isn't it interesting to find that the same holds true for relationships also ?

Whatever might be the relationship between you and the other , it will last long only if both of you are in the circles of the other with same radius. The person may be your close friend or just a 'Hi-Bye' friend. This is the important lesson I have learnt : When the persons are in circles of different radius, then one will expect more from the other and the other will not live upto his/her expectations. This will cause the relationship to break. It is better not to be close than breaking a close relationship, right ?. So keep persons at a distance in which they keep you at. Any discrepancy in this will cause problems in the relationship.

Some of the circles might accomodate any number of people ...say the number of friends we have, keeps on increasing and they get accomodated either in any of the existing circles or create a new one of their own. But as this happens there is a chance of that circle getting expanded which means all the persons in that circle get farther away from you..:(... But there might be some relation that will always remain close to you ...consistently...unshakably...a relationship which belonged to a circle, where it remained as one among the many to the one which is the smallest of all..staying unique throughout both of their lives...people call this relationship as LOVE.

Just like there is lot of electronic repulsion in the compact sized 2p orbital of the Fluorine atom, this circle is even more smaller to adopt two persons at the same time. One person being in that circle forces out any other person entering into that circle. This interelectron repulsion is called as POSSESIVENESS by non-technical people. Before I forget I want you to remind you that F-F bond is stronger than any other F-X bond. This is again because both the persons treat the other in the same way and very closely. The common name for F-X bond is one -sided love.

Here every atom is a radio-active one. Anyone might get disintegrated anytime. Some live long...some don't. But as long as one lives, live with proper configuration. That is what I wanted to say..no.. think of. External influences never matter some of the internal properties like the radioactivity. So unless you realise this from the bottom of your heart, this won't make sense no matter what I say.

The Thirst of Knowledge

Ignorance is Bliss ....ahem ahem...Why do I start with a statement that contradicts what I wanted to tell...hmm..may be just writing down whatever comes to mind...

It might be possible only for Google to tell that some search is completed. But everyone's heart is searching for something all through the life and there are hardly a few hearts that say that the search was completed. Do I need to give so many build ups even after putting it in the topic ? Yes, every mind is struggling hard to know so many things..so many things that it is not able to understand..so many things that have not been taught by anyone....so many things that it can never see...so many things that are monstrous ...so many things that are above the dimensions it can feel.

Einstein rightly said :"There are two things that can be infinite..One is the universe and other is the human stupidity and I'm not sure about the former one". It is a stupid thing to ask " What do you know ?" to a person because nobody knows anything perfectly. Is there anything in the world that you know completely ? People say that they know English ...they just know some...you know enough to communicate with people. If you know English then you will never refer back to a dictionary again..If the human race knows Science completely, then there will be no more research going on...

Nobody knows the entire History. Nobody can ever think of mastering the subject of Mathematics. Obviously nobody knows why certain things happen in Chemistry (any discussion of this statement can be continued in the comments part) . Does anyone on this world know the whole of Music ?

Say you are very good in a game. But still do you know every nuances of the game? Do you know the name of every street in your town where you have been born and brought up ? They may be unimportant and we dont bother to know them all...all I come to say is that you will never know anything fully. But the search I meant is after things that are of ultimate importance.

We don't even know how we do things that we do everyday. Do you digest your food knowing how it is digested? Did you grow up purposefully ? Do you know how you are able to read and how you are able to understand what I say ? Does your brain know what the brain is ? Does it understand its existence by itself ?

We know ourselves to some extent only by human anatomy. Our mind needs to be taught how it should control itself. We struggling hard to imitate ourself to form the Artificial Intelligence but the question of it being possible remains still.

It is a human tendency to justify something which he cant do. So I start up with my usual mokkai (because that is my trademark )to extend a well known theory for aruguement. I ask you a question : Is it possible at all to know things ? . Well , I ll come to this answer in a round about way.

Mokkai starts:

Prof.Vijayan, a physics stud will say that to know about any particle you should ask two questions to it. 1) Where are you ? 2) Are you driving ?....ie a particle's position and its velocity are required to know its current state. But in addition if you know its acceleration as a function of time you can tell its state at any point of time and you can say yourself that you know everything about the particle(assumed mass is known so momentum, kinetic energy and its deBroglie wavelength also known). But to give solution for any problem we should begin with the smallest speck of it and so I started with a particle. But the theory that deals with particles in a good amount is Quantum. So lets go Quantum...

Heinsenburg Uncertainity principle says that its not at all possible to know the exact position and velocity of any particle simultaneously. That means at a given time you cannot tell both its postion and velocity and so you do not know its state at any point of time..in other words you know nothing about the particle at any point of time. Its not that we are not able to measure it but the particle itself doesn't have anything as such. Stephen Hawkin in his book "The Universe in a Nutshell" states that experiments yield that a particle can never be in a position at a point of time. It has a probability distribution function which it obeys. Atmost you can know its pdf. Extending the theory to macroscopic particles and concept, human can never know things fully. All we can know is a part of the thing which we consider given by a kind of function similar to pdf. Therefore a complete knowledge of anything is declared to be impossible.

I state a paradox here.." I know nothing". If somebody says this , then he/she knows a big truth that one has to know and so what he says becomes false. [:P]

Before I conclude, I am going to put max-mokkai :
Extension of Uncertainity principle says that there is no fate. Because even a particle has a freedom of choosing within a certain limit where it wants to be . Nobody can force it to be in a particular state. So we too have an oppurtunity of choosing our own state under some constraints. All you need to do is understand the function of yours and get the best out of you... :)...Just leave a comment and go ahead with your work. You have already wasted a lot of time reading this. :P

Nature's Response Time

<t><t><t><t><t>Once upon a time, a rainy day in Chennai ....</t></t></t></t></t>

(for those localites who have forgotten what it is...please go to flashback. Try remembering the times when we used to sing " Rain Rain go away..Come again another day"..Yes the same rain coming now)
<t><t><t><t><t>
</t></t></t></t></t>
Who goes prepared in this hot city of mine. ? Everything in life happens suddenly and unexpectedly. So does the rain in Chennai.I didnt have an umbrella or a rain coat. Luckily I found a tree nearby. I stood under the tree for shelter. It was a large tree to support two more people. And I was peacefully protected from getting drenched. But not for long. I found after sometime myself wet . Drops of water falling over me without hurting more often than it was.

<t><t><t><t><t> But it seemed that it was only drizzling outside. Junta used to say " Muzhusaa
</t></t></t></t></t>

nananja piragu mukkadhu edhukku "..meaning 'after getting drenched completely what is the point in hiding away from the rain'. So I started walking on my way...towards my destination.. I realised as soon as I came out that of the tree that it was not all raining outside. Being a small boy (ob it didnt happen recently..so many rare events ..all together)..I was wondering how the tree protected me when it was raining and how it deceived me even after the rain had stopped.

<t><t><t><t><t> I was able to realise when I was doing my 2nd semester..EC 101 course</t></t></t></t></t>

that Inductors exactly behaved like the tree...just like it continues its previous state ..as in the case of inertia. The inductor does not allow current suddenly through it meanwhile it stores(or cult) some amount of energy and it gives it back when needed.in anology to the tree taking on the drops on itself...n saving me from rain but pouring out when the rain stopped ....

Now my project for this summer is.... don't feel to much........to calculate the value of so called Inductance for a tree and its response time....lol :P
